Join us as two former Milwaukee TV reporters pull back the curtain on industry secrets to help nonprofit leaders and spokespeople feel empowered and confident before going on camera, picking up the phone or simply talking with reporters and bloggers.
The full-day session will be fun and interactive, sharing insight into how and why the media does what it does and providing practical tools and time-tested tips for interview success. We’ll analyze issues and scenarios important to the nonprofit community, supplement our points with video examples and conduct several on-camera mock interviews with participants to provide real-world practice in a realistic media setting. The goal is for nonprofit executives, board members and other spokespeople to become more comfortable interacting with media both in interviews and during the information-gathering process. Information gleaned will also help you deliver messages to board members, employees and other important stakeholders.
