Media Coordinator Chicago

Essential Functions

Media support to the team:

  • Prepare, issue and maintain media paperwork, including insertion orders, pub schedules, etc. in a timely and accurate manner; File appropriate paperwork in an orderly fashion
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Assist with qualitative research
  • Assist in competitive spending analysis; Pull competitive reports as needed
  • Assist with online trafficking and reporting


Administrative support

  • Assist with clerical duties such as data entry, filing, faxing, photocopying, maintaining vendor and client lists, preparation of presentation materials, mailings and creating conference reports, reception
  • Assist on assigned projects and their related duties
  • Track and monitor the status of projects, internally and externally
  • Effectively and accurately maintain department calendars
  • Work on special projects as requested—Administrative & Media-related 

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor degree in marketing, communication, business, related discipline.  Related experience also accepted
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral; Excellent proofreading skills
  • Team-oriented attitude; Professional manner; Ability to work well with others within a diverse group
  • Strong mathematical aptitude, ability to solve and resolve numerical problems and discrepancies, and able to work accurately with numbers
  • Willing to use telephone to accomplish duties of the position; Excellent phone etiquette
  • Strong organizational skills; Detail oriented
  • Excellent common sense and proven judgment
  • Ability to work well under deadlines; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of Word and Excel
