Join Laughlin Constable's award-winning workforce! We are seeking a talented, web-standards driven front-end web developer with a strong design sense. Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, design and user experience, extensive HTML/CSS development experience, and will be able to get up-to-speed quickly.
Key member of Web development team with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; ability to work at a rapid pace while maintaining high-quality workand a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Need to be a proven team player in a fast-moving environment.
+ Ability to work in a team environment, from making pixel-perfect sites that meet the design requirements to integrating code with the back-end development team
+ Strong HTML5/CSS3 skills; knowledge of how to use the appropriate markup hooks to limit the amount of classes and IDs required on a page
+ Deep understanding of CSS inheritance and how to use it to your advantage
+ A good ideology for managing maintainable, scalable and cross-browser Web standards-compliant code across large sites
+ Familiar with source control principles and comfortable with Subversion and Git
+ In-depth knowledge of IE quirks and how to address them.
+ Demonstrated understanding of Web site performance techniques, Web standards and best practices/semantics
+ Strong working knowledge of Photoshop; able to cut up comps and optimize/adjust graphics from the Creative Team as well as extend the initial design direction into the full project scope
+ Demonstrated mobile project experience, albeit responsive design or separate mobile builds
+ Act as problem-solver throughout the creative process via research, usability studies, analytics, etc.
+ Test in order to ensure all design elements, templates, and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types, devices, platforms and screen settings; work collaboratively with the QA Team; assist with usability issues, site maps, navigation, and problem-solving on projects
+ Ensure that projects meet accessibility requirements for those who traverse the Web with assistive technologies
+ Research and suggest new technologies to remain at the forefront of the Web.
+ Bonus skills include:
+ Working knowledge of Sass and/or LESS
+ Native iOS and/or Android mobile app development
+ Social App Development
+ Experience working within the constraints of an enterprise-level CMS environment (Kentico, Sitecore, etc.)
+ Web video integration/expertise

+ 4-6 years of Web and interactive design experience
+ Exceptional design and layout skills for web and interactive solutions
+ User-centered, responsive approach to interface design and layout
